No women on the board of the big social media companies

At our event of September 24th the results of the ELP Survey showed women are doing better than men in recognizing and using the possibilities for new ways of communicating and collaborating offered by social media. Strange and disappointing that the big players in social media, like Twitter, Facebook, Zynga, Groupon and Foursquare, don’t have women on their boards. None. As in zero.


What’s most remarkable is that most of these start-ups are run by what we consider enlightened and open-minded entrepreneurs, mostly young enough to be part of a generation more inclined to value equality and diversity in the workplace. In addition the clients of these company consist of more women than men……
