Today’s world, with its myriad possibilities of connection offered by transport and technology, is a highly sensitive network system. Avivah Wittenberg-Cox calls this ‘From Pyramids to Pomegranates,’ using the latter as the metaphor for the world as a network.

Feminine leadership qualities such as insight, intuition and connection, generate awareness of and insight in this new network system of the world. They activate the self-organising powers of people, leading to inspiration, passion and creativity.

Today’s world asks for brave women (& men!) to develop and use these leadership qualities to provide perspective!

This is why I created LEAP!: Leapwomen.com is the business community for women, by women. The portal offers a fresh and bold take on today’s leadership to secure tomorrow’s direction.

What can you expect from us:

As we continue to build and generate our content – our aim is to become the expertise centre on Women, Leadership and career in The Netherlands. To that extent our Editorial Council and Board have kicked off and have generated great ideas. Some of these ideas were translated into content that’s been launched already.

We are building a mentoring suite to be launched early next year. Research has clearly shown that mentoring is one of the strongest and most effective tools for growth.

To that extent we invite you to complete your profile and upload a nice picture – so that you may be linked better to the best possible Mentor for YOU!

We are creating an Executive Community that will also be launched early next. Our aim is to bring together Dutch leading ladies and start a debate on issues that really matter to us. Next to creating real and tangible Role Models.

Today’s world needs female talent. To live up to the challenges of this century, today’s world needs you – you can make a difference! If we all actively use LEAP! to grow, become visible, and flourish, LEAP! will become a spinning wheel, fuelled by leadership, ambition, energy and power. A spinning wheel that will put inclusive leadership on the map in the Netherlands!
