In an interview with the European Professional Women’s Network, EPWN, Coca-Cola Germany president Béatrice Guillaume-Grabisch stresses the importance of networking.
“Networking at every level is important and I would advise women to begin networking from very early on in their careers. Whilst business specific contacts are useful, it is also important to have contacts across a diverse range of industries and consequently be connected to a variety of networks."
Attention
"My motto is “Always give chance a chance” – you never know what will come out of connections you make. Generally speaking; pay attention to your network, internally, externally and internationally."
From participation to creation
"It is important, not only to be a member of a network but also to be an active shaper – participating in the development of the different events. When you move from participation to creation – look for what interests you and bring your know-how here. Shape the agenda and create a platform for your own and others’ development."
