Many European countries have their own typical hotel accommodation. I guess we have all heard of the English ‘Bed & Breakfast’ concept, charming French ‘Gîtes’, ‘Chambre d’Hôtes’ en ‘Maison Particulier’, the famous ‘Castles’ in Scotland and Ireland, impressive Italian Palazzo’s and traditional Belgian ‘Convents and Monasteries’. Less people however, are familiar with the Paradores of Spain.
